Banco de Guatemala and Mint of Finland have signed a new contract for the production and supply of 400 million pieces of 1 quetzal circulation coins. The deliveries of the coins will be made during 2023-2025.
Mint of Finland has first delivered circulation coins to Banco de Guatemala in 2018. Ever since, Mint of Finland has been chosen as the supplier in various occasions. Mint of Finland is proud to have been awarded this significant contract, which is the biggest so far and the deliveries extended to three years period.
